Hi! My name is David. I am the Health & Wellness Officer for Albuquerque Fire Rescue and also one of the Chaplains.
I used to be a motorcycle Gand called “The Meanies” haha. I’ve never lost at arm wrestling. I don’t think I’m any good at most things. But, I am proud of being a song writer. I have a new band called “Of Light & Shadow”
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I’ve been married to amazing bride, Nicole for 24 years. I have a son, Jakob – 20, who is currently overseas with the National Guard. My daughter, Alex – 18, who just graduated from Manzano and wants to be a cinematographer. My Daughter, Charlie – 14, who is maybe the most melodramatic and amazing person you’ve ever met! My Daughter, Sawyer -12, who is the sweetest person I know.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I used to front a rock and roll band for 15 years. We toured the country, played with all the bands and at all the venues, and created a lifetime of memories.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My babies. They are my greatest accomplishments.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
Lived here most my life. Had stints in Colorado, Nevada, and The Quad Cities.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
To be honest, I don’t know. The thing that I love about this city is its rich history and culture. Big city small town vibes where everyone knows everyone. That is super unique to this place. So many interesting folks with interesting stories.
Q: What advice would you give to people?

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
To inspire an entire city to join us, “Imagine, ABQ” on September 24th and clean up and restore this wonderful community. Oh, and to spend a week in Lisbon.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
That I’m a crier. Oh wait, everyone knows that… Maybe that Michael Buble follows me on twitter? lol
